Start with the right computer and cable.

Mac installer

macOS 12 or newer.

Windows 10 or 11.

Computer: macOS 12 or newer, or Windows 10 or 11.
Android: Android 10 or newer. Beta focus: Samsung; Pixel and Motorola testing is planned before wider launch.
iPhone: iOS 15 or newer for intake reads. Battery diagnostics support varies by iOS version.
Connection: a data-capable USB cable and an unlocked phone to accept the Allow or Trust prompt.
Account: internet access, sign-in, and an active retail license or professional account with credits. No offline mode.
Mac USB: no additional driver installation required.
Windows USB: Android needs the Google USB driver; iPhone needs the Apple mobile-device driver, supplied by iTunes or Apple Devices. The planned installer will supply the Google driver and fetch Apple's driver when needed.
