Support

A little help at the connection step.

Start with the app's Support tab for connection diagnostics. These guides cover the prompts that need your attention on the phone.

Knowledge base

Android: allow the USB connection

Use a data-capable USB cable, unlock the phone, and follow MAST's steps to enable USB debugging. Accept the Allow USB debugging prompt only for a computer you trust. If the prompt does not appear, reconnect the cable and check the phone screen.

For Android popup removal, review the flagged apps before confirming changes. Finish the hardening steps, including turning USB debugging off when the work is done.

iPhone: trust the computer

Unlock the iPhone, connect it by USB, tap Trust on the phone and enter its passcode when asked. You need the owner's participation; MAST cannot bypass a lock screen. On Windows, check that the Apple mobile-device driver is installed.

Review supported systems and driver requirements

Backup and message export: planned

If you need to print text messages from iPhone or backup iPhone before screen repair, those workflows are not available in this beta. Do not rely on an intake read as a backup.

A future encrypted-backup guide will cover password requirements. MAST will not bypass a forgotten backup password. Planned message exports and backup contents stay on the computer.

Known issues

Placeholder: the public, version-specific known-issues list will be published with the beta. No verified issue entries have been published here yet; this does not mean there are no issues.

Getting more help

Use the app's Support tab to review checks and send diagnostics when that option is available. Review diagnostic information before sending it. Public support contact details will be added before launch.
